Safety Service Director

The Director of Public Safety and Service is appointed by the Mayor. He manages and supervises the Police, Fire, and Building Department, as well as all public works and undertakings of all City departments, i.e. street, electric, water, sewer, and the water pollution control center. He approves all purchases and assists in developing the annual budget. The current Safety Service Director is Mark Costilow.
