Electric Service
The monthly electric charge for service provided by the City of Amherst consists of three items: a monthly service charge, electric usage (calculated according to table below) and the PPA charge (see PPA Explanation).

Water Service Inside the City
As of January 1, 2015

| Each additional 1,000 gallons | $3.02 per 1,000 gallons plus WSC |
| WSC (Water Supply Cost) | rate varies each month and is charged per each 1,000 gallons |
Water Service Outside the City
The water rate is one hundred and fifty percent (150%) of the fee for all water service outside the City limits with a minimum of $9.87 per month.

Sewer Service
Rates shall be based on wastewater treated as determined by water consumption which is expected to enter the sanitary sewer system with a minimum of $27.50 per month.
